Josh talked about something very strange that he saw yesterday on his way home: a guy on the side of the road with a sign that read, “Give me a ride and we'll be pals for a while. I have beef jerky.” We're not quite sure what was going on, but at least he was offering something in exchange for a ride. Not something you see very often!
We did a new List this morning, asking for the three time periods or moments in history that you'd go to wiith a time machine. Josh said he'd visit the medievil times, the late 1700s to the early 1800s in America, and to see dinosaurs. Anna said she'd go see JFK before he was president, go on the moon with Neil Armstrong, and see Woodstock. Some of the times people said they'd go to are the 1920s, the 1950s, the future, various times to see family members, when Jesus was around, and 2003 to keep Steve Bartman from going for the foul ball (Josh LOVED that one).
We played Liar, Liar at 7:05, and Josh Iwinski of Joliet went 4 for 4 to win a pair of tickets to Parrots of the Caribbean at the Rialto Square Theatre on Saturday!
Tomorrow, we'll end the work week with a very special guest! Mary McIlvain, a broadcasting student at DePaul, will be on the air with us from 7 to 9! Last October, her mom won a charity auction to have air time with us, and she gave it to Mary as a gift! We'll let her tell you all about her, we'll do some fun things with her, and have another pair of tickets to give away to Parrots of the Caribbean at the Rialto Square Theatre on Saturday!
