Picard Has Pizza!

May 30, 2013 -- 5:41pm

At 72 years of age, "Star Trek" and "X-Men" star PATRICK STEWART just ate his first piece of pizza.  (???)  And he decided that it was worth posting a picture of the occasion on Twitter.

He captioned it, quote, "My first ever pizza 'slice'.  Please note:  the authentic NY fold."  (Folding? Really? A definite no-no here in Chicago! - Scott) Conversely - it's been quite awhile since William Shatner's first slice.

Ever since Scott was a kid, he's had a passion for being on the radio. We're not sure if it's because of his love of music or that he rode his tricycle down a flight of stairs at an early age. As a result, Scott has been on the air all around Chicagoland for many years. He couldn't be happier to be a part of the gang at Star 96.7 claiming, the fun happens every day here. Plus, you can't beat the free, ample parking!

Be sure to join Scott during the workday and on your ride home as he brings on your music variety and helps you with a laugh or two. He encourages you to check in with him on the Star Lines at 815-254-6464 and let him know what's going on. Plus be listening for Scott's Brainbuster Question,  Three Things You Need To Know and we'll help you get you where you're going with Suburban Traffic.

In addition to helping you get through the afternoon from 2:00pm to 7:00pm, Scott doubles as Star 96.7's Program Director, which means he spends an inordinate amount of time in front of the glowing computer screen in the office before his show. No wonder no one ever asks him along on social outings!

Scott does have a good side too. He is active in the community as the head of a local ham radio association that spends their time helping others, providing communications in the event of an emergency and yes, talking on the radio! Scott also admits to being a die-hard Cub fan and enjoys spending time tinkering around the house. You can check out Scott's own website at www.scottchilders.com
